Bruce Williamson<\/strong><\/a>, ex cantante del legendario grupo The Temptations<\/strong>, muri\u00f3 este martes en Las Vegas, debido a complicaciones derivadas del Coronavirus. El hombre ten\u00eda 49 a\u00f1os y se encontraba recuper\u00e1ndose de una operaci\u00f3n de ves\u00edcula a finales de agosto. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Williamson hab\u00eda nacido en Los Angeles, el 20 de septiembre de 1970. Sus primeros pasos en la m\u00fasica tuvieron mucho que ver con el g\u00e9nero gospel, hasta que encontr\u00f3 su lugar. <\/p>\n

En 1994 quiso ser parte de The Temptations. Su representante, Dave Wallace, se lo present\u00f3 al cantante Ron Tysone y, despu\u00e9s de escucharlo sobre el escenario, lo sum\u00f3 a la banda. <\/p>\n

\u00abOtis Williams -uno de los fundadores de la banda- estaba inicialmente en contra de que me uniera al grupo, porque pensaba que yo era muy grande (f\u00edsicamente) y joven\u00bb<\/strong>, cont\u00f3 Williamson. Sin embargo, el veterano cantante termin\u00f3 aceptando al \u00abgigante de gran vozarr\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/a><\/p>\n

Junto a la banda, Williamson grab\u00f3 los \u00e1lbumes Back to Front y Still Here<\/em>, realiz\u00f3 varias giras de conciertos y actuaciones en programas de televisi\u00f3n y en la pel\u00edcula Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n

En 2015 abandon\u00f3 la banda, alegando que estaba con problemas de salud y con mucha con ganas de volver al Gospel. <\/a><\/p>\n
